    Blood tests

At Prospect Medical we offer a range of blood tests.  Before you have a blood test taken, it is important that you fully understand why the test is being done and what you can expect from the results.  We ask patients to always phone us for the results of their blood tests.

    Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions may be ordered by telephone or in writing.  Please allow 24 hours notice for your prescription which will be emailed to your pharmacy.  It is important to review medications that you are taking long-term.  We may ask you to make an appointment to see your doctor to review long-term medications, to check that they are appropriate for you.

    General Practice Registrars

Prospect Medical Centre is a GP Training Practice of the Irish College of General Practitioners.  This means that every year, we will have a GP Trainee working at the practice.  The GP Trainee is a fully qualified doctor who is continuing his/her post-graduate training to qualify as a GP.
